Apollo Theatre balcony in London's West End 'collapses'

Theatre goers are feared trapped after the roof of the Apollo in the West End collapsed mid-way through a packed evening during a performance of The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Nighttime, as police confirmed "multiple casualties".

- A “number of casualties” have been reported after a balcony collapsed at the Apollo Theatre in London. People are believed to be trapped after the collapse.

The fire department believes around 700 people were in the theatre at the time.

At least up to 40 injured
