A small plane has crashed during a flight demonstration near Moscow, killing the two people on board, Interfax reports, citing a source in the local emergencies service.

The Antonov An-2 plane was involved in an event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the model.

According to the source, the pilot lost control of the aircraft while flying close to the ground and took a dive.
