Massive explosion in Mississauga, Canada levels homes

The explosion on Hickory Drive was reported at 4:22 p.m. Fire and ambulance services are at the scene.

Area residents have been sharing photos and video on social media of a plume of smoke. One user shared video of debris scattered all over the road.

Police are asking people to avoid the area near Rathburn Road East and Dixie Road.
