Andy Adamsons

Andis 'Andy' Adamsons, passed away December 1, 2020. He was the husband of the late Maureen (Steele) Adamson, whom he loved dearly.

He was born February 2,1943 in Latvia and lived most of his life in Brockton.

Andy was a veteran of the United States Army and served as a paratrooper in the Korean War from 1962 to 1963. Andy was employed as a mover, a foundry worker, worked at Howard Johnsons, was a taxi driver, worked at Avon Shoe Shank and worked for many years as a custodian at West Acres Nursing Home. He enjoyed watching baseball and reading.  

He is survived by his loving son, Andy Adamson; his nieces Katrina Dirlam Perkons and Kaitlin Perkons; his nephews Dylan and Frank Perkons; his great nephews Keith and Matthew Dirlam; and great, great niece Tangili Clark.  

Andy was a loving and caring person and had a wonderful smile. He was brave in life and in death. He was our hero! We all love him very much and he will be missed by all whom he touched throughout his life. Brockton, MA
