Eleonora Salvatore González, (1 October 1975 – 23 January 2017), known as Bimba Bosé, was a Spanish model, designer, actress and singer.
Her artistic name, bimba, means lady child in Italian.
Biography
She was born in Rome, Italy, the daughter of Lucía González Bosé (Madrid, 19 August 1975) and her first husband, Alessandro Salvatore (died October 2008), maternal granddaughter of bullfighter Luis Miguel González Lucas "Dominguín" and actress Lucia Bosé, she had six brothers and sisters: Rodolfo (Olfo) Bosé, Alessandro, Francesca and Alfonso Salvatore on her father's side, and Jara and Lucía Tristancho on her mother's side. She was singer Miguel Bosé's niece.
She was married, from 3 June 2006 until the beginning of 2013, to producer and musician Diego Postigo with whom she had two daughters: Dora Postigo Salvatore (Madrid, 04/2004) and June Postigo Salvatore (Madrid, 19 June 2011).
In 2014 Bimba Bosé had an operation for breast cancer. In June 2016 she told the magazine "Lecturas" that it has "metastasized in her bones, liver and brain" and she is continuing treatment. Bimba died in Madrid due to this disease on 23 January 2017, aged 41.

Singer
She worked in her own recording studio and was part of the The Cabriolets group. She debuted with the group on 7 May 2007, singing in English and Spanish. She highlighted her version of Como yo te amo by Rocío Jurado mixed with the musical base of the original theme of Twin Peaks. Her first CD, called Demo, was recorded in New York City, ordered by producer Andrés Levín, and musicians like Marc Ribot and John Medeski collaborated on it.
In 2007 she made a duet with her uncle, Miguel Bosé, titled Como un lobo on the successful album Papito, that was launched simply with a music video and the performance of the couple in the 2007 Grammy Latin.
