Oles Buzina (1969 Kiev - 2015 Kiev), in Russian Оле́сь Алексе́евич Бузина́ ; in Ukrainian Оле́сь Олексі́йович Бузина́, is a writer, historian and Ukrainian journalist. He was murdered on April 16. 2015 not far from his flat in Kiev. From 2007 he was a journalist at Sevodnya. He participated in numerous talk shows on Ukrainian TV and Russian TV in favour of the peace between the two countries. Russian President Putin denounced this murder on Russian TV as a political murder. He was married and father of one daughter.
