Mr Young was involved in one of the most bitter divorce battles ever seen in the High Court - and was sent to prison for six months.
A bankrupt tycoon with a “missing fortune” said to be worth billions has fallen to his death from a luxury central London apartment.
Scot Young, 51, died after becoming impaled on railings after falling 60ft from the window of a luxury penthouse next door to John Lennon’s former home.
Firefighters had to help police cut through the five-foot metal railings with an angle grinder as part of attempts to free him.

The former ‘Mr Fix-it’ for Russian oligarchs and British billionaires had made at least £400m by 2006 arranging deals for the super-wealthy.
He is understood to have counted Topshop billionaire Sir Philip Green and Russian oligarch Boris Berezovsky among his close friends.
But the money had apparently disappeared by the time of his acrimonious divorce.
His ex-wife Michelle demanded £300m but was eventually awarded £26m. She has never seen a penny of the money, with Mr Young declaring himself bankrupt.
Today Michelle said: "I just want to be left alone."
A spokeswoman for his girlfriend Noelle Reno confirmed today that Mr Young had died after the incident in Montagu Square, central London.
A neighbour, who asked not to be named, told the Evening Standard their cleaners had been "traumatised" by seeing the body on Monday.
They added: “It was a very gruesome scene. The body was hanging there for a while.
“Police covered it with a tent straight away when they arrived but quite a few people must have seen it. I couldn’t look, I was horrified.”
Another neighbour said: “We don’t know if he fell or if he jumped, but he was impaled on the railings below.
"A friend of mine who saw it was just in shock, the poor man was stuck there for a short time before fireman cut down the fence.”
A Met spokesman said: “We were called to reports of a man having fallen from a fourth floor window at 5.18pm.
"The man, who is believed to be in his early 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
"His death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.”
