French media reported that the 36-year-old was in Boro Bistro when the terrorists struck and that he was a friend of Alexandre Pigeard, who was killed.
His girlfriend, Gerda Bennet, who was in Malta at the time of the attack, returned to London and posted appeals to find him on Facebook.
He was out with Mr Pigeard and other friends watching the Champions League final between Juventus and Real Madrid at The Barrowboy & Banker, before moving on to the wine bar.
His Facebook page states that he worked at Blueprint Cafe, near Tower Bridge, and Coq D'Argent, in Bank.
He had lived in London for seven years.
