Stanislawa Leszczyńska (born May 8, 1896 in Łódź, died March 11, 1974) was a midwife in Auschwitz concentration camp responsible for delivery of over 3,000 children. An official candidate for canonization (sainthood) by Polish Catholic Church. Several hospitals and organizations in Europe are named after Stanislawa; the main street in Auschwitz concentration camp is also named after her; a street in Łódź is named after her.
