Witnesses report that the stabber, who has been apprehended, shouted 'Allahu Akbar' during the attack. Attacker is arrested

 The attacker was a 27-y-old German national.

A 50-y-old man from Wasserburg has died of his injuries says BR24.

"The assailant made remarks at the scene of the crime that indicate a political motivation -- apparently an Islamist motive," said a prosecutor's spokesman. "We are still determining what the exact remarks were."
