Georgian chess composer and International Master of the FIDE for chess composition
He was one of the most outstanding study composers (chess composer) of Georgia.
His chess studies have often pretty final stalemate- or mate-positions.

His chess study activity began in 1955. Around 1999 he had composed a hundred studies, with 65 distinguished works, and among the 25 awarded, 10 with the first prize.

Neidze has written numerous articles and prologues for a number of books on Studies.
He was also the chess author, in collaboration with G. Nadareishvili, of the extensive review on the subject.
The chess composition in Russia and the USSR was published in the great "Enciclopedico Dictionary of Chess" (Moscow, 1990).
