Jan Ševčík, chess player and endgame study composer, died after a hard illness. 
He composed about 94 chess studies. 25 awarded, including 9 Prizes. 

Writer of chess problem articles

He had written numerous articles, three fundamental brochures and led several chess columns. 
In recent years engaged in systematizing chess studies.
