Juhani Armas Koppelomäki (*  Friday, November 6, 1936 Teuva    –   †  Sunday April 13, 1980 Teuva)

He was a Finnish chess study composer and crime writer.

Chess composing

Composer who was born and lived in Teuva, with a production of about 70 endgame studies. In spite of his early death (with 43 years), he enjoyed great prestige by the realized work, having obtained prizes and distinctions in contests.
The works of Koppelomaki stand out for their varied themes that in some cases have a lot of originality. The qualitiy of his endgame studies is very good.
