Ludvik Štěpán

The Czech chess composer Ludvik Štěpán (07.02.1904-13.01.1971) mainly composed fairy-tale chess problems (a term which at that time also included auxiliary and self-mates); he also won a Czech championship in this field in the 1960s. Ilya Mikan has dedicated a booklet to him in his gallery series (No. 10, 1972) with biographical details, which I unfortunately cannot make out linguistically, and with more than 200 of his chess problems.
