The Austrian chess composer Otto Trinks (26.07.1901 - 28.10.1945), who was one of the pioneers of the modern strategic school alongside Halumbirek, died 75 years ago (age 44). His speciality was the moremovers (chess problems). Dr. Otto Trinks composed only a few chess problems, but at a very high level.
