Seth Liljestrand (* Finland, 01.01.1909  -  † 08.07.1999)

Chess composer

He was a commanding fireman in the finnish city Vaasa.
He was Chess-column editor in the newspaper Vaasa which became Pohjalainen.
He composed more than 300 chess problems, mainly 2- or 3- problem chess movers and 10 endgame studies.
