Martins Rismanis

On 25th of April, 1933, at 13:50 our Party member of district Nr 11- Martiņš Rismanis was died. He was an active participant of the revolt of year 1905. Mr Rismanis more than 30 years worked in the Shmidth's Cement Factory and in this period many times organized party meetings forbidden by the law, also organized collection of money for the needs of the Party and organized purchases of weapons/ guns. In the WWI he participated in the Latvian Riflemen divisions. He died in 6 months from the illness, got due bad work conditions in the cement factory (tuberculosis and cancer) at the age of 64. His burial ceremony will be started at 11:30 on 30.04.1933 from the 2nd City Hospital to Lacara cemetery at Liepajas street.
