Tony Collins and Kirsty Nelis, both policemen, were on the board on helicopter crashed in Glasgow, Scotland, UK

Constable Collins was 43 years years old.

Chief Constable Sir Stephen House said: “It is with great sadness that I can also confirm that the crew of the helicopter involved in the incident have all died. They were Constable Tony Collins, Constable Kirsty Nelis and the pilot was Captain Dave Traill. 

“Kirsty and Tony were members of Police Scotland’s Operational Support Division.  Captain Dave Traill worked for Bond Air Services and was very much part of the Police Scotland team. 

“I would like to pay tribute to all three and recognise the important contribution they made to our public service and to the communities they have served.”

Constable Collins was 43 years years old; Constable Nelis was 36 years old; Captain Dave Traill was 51 years old.
