She was a young lawyer who attended the University of Oregon School of Law as an exchange student is among the 76 victims of the mass shooting and bomb attack in Norway.

Kjersti Berg Sand, 26, worked at the Norwegian Ministry of Justice in Oslo.

Sand graduated from the University of Oslo.

In a statement obtained by KVAL News Camille Lafage, a former colleague of Sand's and UO Law School alumna, writes that Sand left Oregon and went back to her home country.
