Armin Tobias Schmieder

Armin Schmieder from South Tyrol had a fatal accident while base jumping with a wingsuit in Switzerland on Friday morning. 

According to initial findings by the Bern cantonal police, the 28-year-old from Merano had travelled alone to the "Alpschelehubel" to jump from there with his wingsuit. Shortly after the jump, he got into difficulties for unknown reasons and fell to the ground.

Friends and family were able to listen to the jump live until there was silence after a scream.
