František Richter composed about 190 endgame studies and problems (direct mates, selfmates) and was an International Master in chess composing

Style

His composing style in his endgame studies can remind that of Jindrich Fritz.
His obituary was published in Šachové umění, November 1971.

A dozen endgame studies appear in different editions of the FIDE Album.
