Chess composer of endgame studies and chess problems
He was Economist and journalist born in Budapest, who devoted himself with equal success to the problem and the endgame study composition
He wrote several works and for many years attended the page of problems in the magazine "Magyar Sakkvilag".
He was appointed referee for the composition in 1956 and
member of the Permanent Commission of the FIDE for this specialty, like expert in computer applied to the chess
"Magyar Sakkfeladvány Antologia" (Kecskemet, 1947) and
the other "Asakkjátszmátol a feladványig" (Kecskemét, 1947), in collaboration with S. Boros,
For a time Dr. Línder was a prisoner in a concentration camp
but after the war he dedicated himself to selecting his best works for editing in a partially autobiographical book: Sakkmezók népe Kózt "(Kecskemét, 1947)
which was well received.
