Matthias Streitwieser (Mag. rer. nat. Bakk. Biol.) was born on Monday, January 27, 1975, under the zodiac sign of Aquarius. The Mittagsloch (1850 m) is a specific geological feature—a rocky hole near the Stöhrhaus—that involves ladders (B) and secured climbing sections (up to 1+).

His body was discovered the following Tuesday by other climbers. However, due to severe weather conditions, the recovery operation could not be completed until Wednesday morning.
