Benjamin Morris Gasul

Benjamin  Gasul was born in Riga, nowadays Latvia (then occupied by Russian Empire).

He traveled to the U.S. on the "Empress of Russia" ship at the age of 16 and settled in Kenosha, WI

In 30-ties he became famous doctor of medicine, cardiologist

In 1939 Benjamin Gasul was invited to give a lecture in the Soviet Union and he and his wife Lala took a tour of Europe.

While travelling, he took photos & color films in Warsaw's Jewish Quarter in June 1939, -2 months before Gemany & Soviet Union jointly invaded Poland
