She was a combat medic in the Carpathian Sich 49th Infantry Battalion. Diana moved to Ukraine before the full-scale war began, she learnt to speak Ukrainian and applied for Ukrainian citizenship. "Diana Wagner gained eternal life on the battlefield, saving wounded Colombian soldiers of the Ukrainian army.
