“Baby Rider”2006 – 9 January 2026 Diana Bahadori was a 19-year-old Iranian motorcycle influencer and social media personality from Gonbad-e Kavus, Golestan Province, in northern Iran. Of Turkmen background, she became widely known online under the nickname Baby Rider. She gained over 100,000 followers on Instagram by posting videos of herself skillfully riding powerful superbikes, often without a headscarf. In a country where women are legally barred from obtaining motorcycle licenses and appearing without a hijab is strictly enforced, her content was widely seen as a quiet but powerful act of defiance and personal freedom. Independent sources report she was hit by two bullets around midnight. Her family searched for her for two days before receiving her body on 11 January.
