John Henson

John Paul Henson (April 25, 1965 – February 14, 2014) was an American puppeteerbest known for his association with The Muppets. He is the son of puppeteers Jim andJane Henson. He performed Sweetums starting in 1991, although the role has been passed to some different puppeteers (Sweetums no longer has a consistent performer), including David Rudman, Noel MacNeal, Rob Mills and Matt Vogel.

Death

John Henson died on February 14,2014 of a heart attack at his home in Saugerties, New York.
