Hezbollah senior commander, Ali Khalil Alyan killed on the Lebanon-Syria border

Ali Khalil Alyan, the commander of Hezbollah operations in the Qalamoun region was reportedly killed in the fighting and another two Hezbollah militants were said to have been injured.

Hezbollah and al-Nusra fighters have regularly clashed, with a set of major attacks in recent days by the al-Qaida affiliate against Hezbollah and Syrian army posts in the Qalamoun region across the Lebanese border.
