A private passenger plane Cessna, registered in Austria crashed in the Baltic Sea, near Ventspils
Public information shows that the aircraft Cessna (OE-FGR), according to the data of the Austrian Aircraft Register, was operated by the German company GG Rent GmbH 51469 (Bergisch Gladbach, De-Gasperi-Straße 7 Deutschland), which, according to the data of the German register, is managed by Griesemann family.
The aircraft was 42 years old.
The plane departed from Jerez de la Frontera airport in southern Spain (Andalusia, Cadiz province) to Cologne. It is known that the pilot had full control of the flight to German airspace, but then the the flight continued on a straight trajectory to Ventspils, where the plane made several circles and fell into the Baltic Sea.
