Andrew Evan Reijers

Loving son, brother, grandson, of Bridgewater, 23 Andrew E. Reijers, 23, of Bridge-water died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009, at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. There will be a 1 p.m. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at St. James RC Church, Woodbridge. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield. Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Lehrer-Gibilisco Funeral Home, 275 W. Milton Ave. Rahway. Andrew was born in Elizabeth, lived in Roselle for 13 years, and in Bridgewater for the past eight years. He was a 2007 Bridgewater High School Graduate. Andrew enjoyed life and music and he loved to laugh. He was an enthusiastic bowler and a courageous young man. He was known for his gorgeous blue eyes, beautiful smile, sweet nature, and gentle soul, "an Angel here on earth." He was a loving son, brother, grandson, and nephew and will be deeply missed by all. Andrew is survived by his mother, Karen A. Reijers-Majkowski, and her husband, Robert E.; his father, Raimonds Reijers and his wife, Darlene; three brothers, Steven, Christopher, and Bryan; one sister, Abigayle; three grandmothers, Valija Reijers, Thelma Emory, and Helena "Babcia" Majkowski; and countless aunts and uncles. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
